Cooks in Custom Dorm

Ok, In uni I created a building, then used changelotzoning to make it into a Dorm. Now it works fine, Townies move in, everything is hunky dory apart from the cook. They turn up but just stand there. If I make one of my sims work in canteen the same happens. The sims can cook by themselves.

There's everything a sim needs, at least 5 free counters for preperation, but nothing.


Any ideas?

The only type of stove you should place in a dorm is the Shiny Tyme Cooktop.

Any other stove will result in what you describe.

Required items for dorms to function as intended:

Shiny Tyme stove
Counter islands
Dishwasher or sink in same room as stove
Garbage can or trash compactor in same room as stove
Myne dorm doors
Telephone
Sprinkler in same room as stove

Sorted it, all I was missing was island counters!
