Downloaded Sims 2 University life collection from ea now mods won't work

I had gotten Sims 2 Seasons from ea a few months ago and all my mods worked, today I got Sims 2 Univeristy Life Collection from them due to their sale and none of my mods works now. I've started the game without the mods enabled then restarted with them enabled but none are working.

Are the mods you have updated for your latest EP?

I think that you need the mods updated for apartment life, because maxis expansions collections (like best of bussiness or university life) are newer than the original expansions (university in your case) and for that they need the most updated mods. Hope this helps you.

I lost the computer I was playing it on so I was able to redownload the games from EA on a new computer and then had to get my mods back. Works well now. Thanks for all the help. RL has been up and down since I first did the post.
