Julie, the only pity is that you did not make Dynamo Kyiv. This team is the most titled in the former USSR. Dynamo Kyiv won the USSR championship 13 times (the most of all teams, Spartak won the USSR championship 12 times).
In addition, Dynamo Kyiv won the UEFA Super Cup in the final against Bayern, beat Barcelona 4-0 and 3-0 in 1998. Twice won the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
Three Golden Ball winners played in Dynamo Kyiv: Blokhin, Belanov and Shevchenko. Also, this team was coached by the greatest Soviet coach - Valery Lobanovsky.
Almost the entire USSR national team was formed from Dynamo Kyiv players (just like the USSR national ice hockey team from CSKA Moscow players).
