Hot tub enabled for pregnant Sims New version Available(5/19/06)

This mod allows pregnant Sims to use the hot tubs.
 
**This mod conflicts with InTeen as well as CrammyBoy's nudist hack**
 
**This mod is not compatible with my Take off accessories before entering hot tub mod**
 
 
5/19/06 Fixed the problem with this dropping out of the sims queue.

Cool, I always wondered why pregnant sims couldn't use the hottub but they could swim in the pool... just never thought to request it as a hack. Thanks!

Thanks for sharing jase439, I had no idea but it does make sense when you think about it.

Anyhow, my pregnant sim will soak in the hot tub and that is it! gna.. there I said it. :mrgreen:

kids.. *shudders* i leave the making babies up to my sims, that way i can't be arrested if i "accidentally" kill one... *grins*

was just going to ask if this would conflict with inteen... hope a compatable one is made if possible

I spent a fair bit of time researching miscarriage risk back when I was implementing this feature for InTeen.

The conflict is minor, but teens will likely display a tendency to be a bit more cautious about entering hut tubs around adult lovers if both mods are installed together, and may wig out and refuse to get in altogether if their adult spouse is bathing nude.  Teens will also likely refuse to bath nude.

:old: Well, pregnant sims can't get into hot tubs for a good reason. In real life, (and from what I think I know) if a pregnant person gets into a hot tub, it can increase the chances of a miscarrage and/or literally "cook" the baby! :icon9: This, of course, is why Maxis disables pregnant sims from getting in hot tubs.

So, in applying this to "sim" life, Squinge, how about you change this mod a bit so whenever a pregnant sim gets into a hot tub, it can increase the chances of a miscarrage just like in real life? And just maybe, somewhere, a gullible, pregnant person with this mod could think it'd be okay to get in a hot tub themselves, but...well...I think you get the idea.
And although it may be very unlikely that this would really happen, it's kinda what this mod might be suggesting.

P.S. I think someone could have posted a similar post this one, but if so, at least I clarified the subject a bit more.

You'd have to ask CBOY.  This mod will overwrite hot tub behavior 0x7FEABABA:0x206E, which CBOY's nudist mod requires.  I don't know what CBOY is using this behavior for specifically (probably to circumvent the "omg, there's a naked person in my hot tub reaction...don't get in because I'm shy").  I'm simply speculating, however.  Whatever functionality CBOY added to this behavior, you will lose it if you apply this mod.

Skyguy: This is an interesting idea, were it not for the fact that Miscarriages are a feature of the InTeenimater which this mod is not compatible with :/

Jase this mod starts with an 'h' so would it even work with inteen wouldn't inteen override this one?

Yes and no.  The nudist mod does collide with InTeen, but CrammyBoy has an InTeen-compatibility patch that addresses the conflict.

well...Hot tubs are fine if your pregnant...just keep the temp down...thats what I do!!!
