I don't know how to hack into the Sims 2 game and animate a Sim farting or how to animate a sim. Can anyone help me or provide me a mod for a sim farting, please? :fart:

Your post has been moved from the Requests Forum.  The Requests forum is for those with new ideas and requests for new content to be developed by others.  The General Modding forum is provided for assistance in "how-to" developing your own mod/hacks.

That said, if you're just getting your feet wet, I would suggest you download SimPE and look at a few of the tutorials.  Then spend some time looking at other mods and see how they've altered the default behavior of the game to achieve the desired effect.  Perhaps you will find something similar.  Learn by example is the best way to get started.  Animations can be a little tricky and not something I would personally recommend for the novice.  If you have specific questions, come back and present them here.

Ok, now I have the program, but i don't know how to enact a social interaction. I want to take the fart action and make some changes with it and turn it into a sim farting anonymously (in his/her chair).

Anonymously or autonomously?

How exactly do you want to change this behavior?

Instead of them standing up to fart, why can't they lean sideways and then fart. That's what I want to change.

As far as I can recall they do this already.  Perhaps its just something the elders that do this, but I distinctly recall grandma Angela Pleasant lifting a cheek to the wind at the dinner table and letting one rip.

Really? The only thing I saw in the game was when they get up to let one rip. Is there like a mod already made to let them fart in their chair or could you tell me where in the game I could take a look?

This appears to be a quality that is unique to "sloppy" sims after they've eaten a "healthy" amount of food (there is a 10% chance they will do this).  This behavior itself is controlled through the belch/fart controller (Group ID: 0x7F954199).  You can see where the controller is created in the Behavior "Eat - Fart" (0x7F8834C8:0x2069).  "Eat - Fart" is called in response to Eat - _Exit (0x7F8834C8:0x2014) at Node 14.  It's a test that is run as part of finishing a meal.

If you wanted to trigger this behavior all the time for every sim that leaves the dinner table (leaving nothing to chance), you could change the TRUE/FALSE links at Node 0 in "Eat - Fart" (0x7F8834C8:0x2069) from 5/FFFD to 2/2.

I found the file in Object workshop and saved it, but I don't know where in this file I need to change the TRUE/FALSE links at Node 0 or where to find "Eat - Fart" (0x7F8834C8:0x2069). Would this be in any sloppy sim or in another file? What I am trying to say is where can I import the Group 0x7F954199 file?
