The Buena Vista is a spacious modern home for a growing family or for multiple adults to share. It has a master bedroom with a walk in closet and a large private bathroom. There is a large bedroom on the opposite end of the house, and a smaller one next to the master bath. There is also a second bathroom upstairs. The upstairs also has some open space that could be used as a sitting room, library, office or game room. A balcony wraps around the entire house and has a staircase leading down to the enclosed pool area.

Downstairs, an entry foyer leads to the living room, which is open and has a modern staircase. Off the living room is the large eat-in kitchen, with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the pool and patio. There is covered parking for two cars.

This upload is not furnished because it really deserves better than Maxis furniture. Most of the furnishings used in the pictures are either donation items or items for which I do not have permission to include in lot uploads.  Please feel free to post your pics here after you've decorated it. I've love to see what you've done with the place!

For best results, place on waterfront lot Smiley

very very cool!  Love the mediterranean influence with a hint of the Prairie style by Frank Lloyd Wright!  Even has an oriental feel!  Great house Rogue!

Thanks, you guys! I moved my Sim family into this house tonight and can tell you that it plays well too. I put it on a lot near the ocean, and at night, the view from every room is just magical.

SML - Yes, I love wood floors. The one I used in this house is my favorite because it is completely seamless.

I am actually not as in favor of seamless (if we are talking boards anyway). If you build a home and put down planks, none of the boards "seam together". If it does, it is laminated printing or you hapen to label the boards as they are being cut, had a HUGE tree to work with, and did it all yourself.

But, for the case of Sims..... everything works for me Smiley

SML, that's true, but I like to think that if you have the money to build a fancy modern house, you'd have the money to pay for fancy seamless wood floors, you know?

I do like rustic wood floors too, just depends on the house.
