I have been getting very frustrated using Paint Shop Pro to recolor objects, and especially clothing. Some things come out pretty decent with it, but a lot don't. And since there is no way on earth I could afford Photoshop, I downloaded GIMP. Are there any tutorials for recoloring clothing and objects with it? Especially adding textures and patterns because that's something I just can't seem to do very well on clothing with PSP, but I'm not sure how to begin with GIMP.

If you're just learning GIMP you may want to start here...these are general tutorials but the knowledge can be applied to the Sims2 as well.
