Bio: Born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 29, 1964, Don Cheadle had a love for performing that did not go unchecked by his father, a psychologist, and mother, a bank manager. Thanks to them, Don's interest in both acting and music bloomed from pastime to full-blown obsession. In fact, Cheadle was so good that when the time came for university, he received several scholarships to study both disciplines.

In the end, he settled on the California Institute of the Arts and, upon graduation, immediately garnered a role in the film Moving Violations, released in 1985. He lived the life of a struggling actor throughout the '80s, with small roles in forgettable films dotting his resume. The role of D.A. John Littleton on the TV drama Picket Fences finally won him acclaim in 1993.

He was also in Ocean's Eleven & Twelve, and on the TV program ER (and a whole bunch of other stuff that you've probably seen).
