How to use flowerbed fence?

I use the flowerbeds for my, lol, flowers but my sims or the gardener can't water the plants or do anything to them. how do you guys use it?

i would put four flowers in like a little box and the flowerbed fence would enclose them, that's how i use the fences. any help or insight would be appreciated by my plants:) thanks!

I`m using perfect plants hack by JMPescado, Inge Jones has it too on simlogical

perfect plants mean they don't need water or trimming?

Yeah. If you get it you don`t have to care about the plants

I use twojeffs perfect plants hack also and I love it. It also protects them from your pets so they can still roll in them all they want without ruining them :lol:

as for the little garden fences, some can be stepped over and some can't ::

Inge has one also but twojeffs version is better IMO because you still get the bees and stuff

i just have to ask this. BEFORE that hack was created, what did people do? not use the fences? but they make it pretty!

When I landscape for the game, I'd have the low bricks or stumps for a border fence.

before the hack you just had to figure out which of the low garden fences could be stepped over :lol:


Personally I think Maxis/EA screwed up and forgot to finish the ones sims should be able to step over and I doubt anyone has ever reported this issue to them.

Yep! LOL Also, some custom LOW fences the gardner would cry over! So, I also use perfect plants!
