If I have a certain item, say a sofa, and it is found in residential but
not in community. Is there a way to change it to a community lot?
I know I saw a tutorial on that someplace but I cannot find it anymore?
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,

I will guess that you do not have OfB installed, so you will have to rely on doing things one of three ways.

If it is a custom sofa, then you can add it to a collection for commercial lots by using Jfade's Sims 2 Collection Creator - Version 1.1.1 at DJS Sims http://www.djssims.com/ -- or add this to a collection in game - then edit the collection with the programme.

another way is to mod the file with Paladin's Sims 2 Categorizer from Paladin's Place http://www.simwardrobe.com/

lastly is to hack the file with SimPE and requires you locate the tutorial at MTS2 (I looked but did not locate it)

Thanks for the info.
I couldn't find the file located at the first link. Searched all the
hacks. (didn't know that site existed, got great hacks and other stuff)

I downloaded the second one.

I did find a small tutorial over at Simpe site, but it works only once for
some reason. (after you put the object on a community lot, you cannot
do it on a second time)  I will try the second one. I just want to make
sure it is available at both residential and community.

Thanks,
Bill
