For some reason, when I go to hire a maid, nothing happens. I click on the phone, go to Services and click Maid and then nothing happens. My Sims just hang up the phone. Now, I did marry off quite a few maids. Are there only a limit amount of maids? If so, how do I get more?

Thanks for the help.

My 1st thought, you have a hack conflict or a phone hack not working properly.

Is this happening on all your lots or just that specific one?

You can check for hack conflict using Paladin's hack conflict detection utility  that can be found at http://www.simwardrobe.com

Definitely a mod at work.  I don't remember which mod it was, but if you have Pets and don't have the up to date phone/job/newpaper/computer mod, what you describe will happen.  It's related to the additional functions for Pets in each of those areas.

Yep that could be it too. Smiley

While I had the pet ep install I needed to update some of my mods even if they did not show a conflict since my pets could not get a job.  So make sure all the mods/hacks you have are the current version for the ep you have.  Using a pet mod/hack if you don't have it install can also cause that problem.
