Nightlife crashes

[baby steps]

I used my Nightlife EP for a few weeks and it worked well. Unfortunately now whenever I try to start the game it gets to about halfway through loading and then freezes, the sound gets stuck and eventually there is an error message telling me it's crashing. I do have some custom content, but I'm not sure what the problem is because it won't load so that I can figure it out.

i get this same problem too except i also have uni and ofb, it gets to the middle of the loading screen, sound goes funny and it crashes.
anyone out there who can help?

You should follow the steps in this thread first:

Also you can delete the groups.cache file from MyDocuments/EAGames/TheSims2.

And Delphy's Download Organizer is the handiest new Sims2 tool out there:

Give those a whirl and see if it helps.

If you have downloaded new CC before the crash thats probaly whats causing it. Remove those new files then try to start it back up again.



If thats not the problem, it's probaly something else. Other than CC. *I dunno* Make sure you have the proper patch installed too.
