Thanks Squinge . After 2 months of this expansion I thought no one was going to fix this to be honest . And although you'd said it was in testing last month I thought you'd abandoned it by this time to be honest . The lightning has been such a blight on the game I've seriously considered retiring from simming due to it to tell you the truth because it made visiting community lots virtually unplayable because it's impossible to look after 10 to 20 sims that aren't even under your control . And all the Sims in my game are the original sims that game with the game like Mortimer Goth and all the rest of the Pleasantview clan ( as well as my own handful of custom favourites of course ) and I didn't want to lose any of them just because Maxis ridiculously decided to make the weather more dangerous than a fortnight in Iraq . Whoever wanted the lightning / hot tub thing after seeing the original demo of the game has a lot to answer for because playing dodge the lightning bolt definitely wasn't my intention when I bought this game . If anyone wants hellfire and brimstone and explosions and all that sort of stuff then they should be buying the likes of Battlefield 2 instead because this is supposed to be an easy going game you can relax with . I can't wait to try this out!  I've been so busy lately that I haven't been playing much.    I love it when it rains in my game, but the lightning is very loud and startles me, sometimes.
