*Update*Tongue and Piercings T/YA/A/E both genders

I have this happen from time to time myself, it's the most annoying when you go downtown or something go to take pics & you have a Sim that you have no control over show up wandering all around with the dreaded "Blue Flashers"... :smt120

I'd really like to know a solution for the flashing blue problem....I get it with Maxis objects, too:
The luxury addon bed, the one with the horizontal stripes at the head end, sometimes has flashing blue stripes and I do not have any recolours of that item.
Then there are some accessoires which will always flash unless I walk the sim to a mirror, but saving or not, it occurs the next time I start the game...*sigh*

If it occurs after you fixed.saved it at the mirror its prolly related to either the game itself or your drivers.

Only advice i have:
* get the latest patches for all EP's
*Reinstall Direct X
*Reinstall or update video card drivers

Um, BlooM, did you ever test this with vampires? Their fangs disappear when they have their tongues, yet without they're fine :oogle:

Aside from that it looks great in-game - I went and re-coloured it for aliens too Got a no-piercings version and a barbell only version too - didn't realise it was that easy to do until I had a look at the UVMap you posted Thanks loads for this

no, never tested it on them, i should have because the tongue is based on the teeth.

Ah, that's probably why then. Still, at least with the fangs accessory I have they don't look as weird as the defaults did, so it's still worth giving my vamps tongues

Wow this is great! Now I think I'm addicted to giving all my sims tongues, with or without piercings...

Hey, do you think it would be possible to make these for the kids (maybe toddlers) too? Without the piercings, it could still be a step closer to the realism Maxis never bothered to complete when making their models.

This is fantastic!  Thank you. and thank you LadyMystique for coming up with it.  I couldn't wait to get my dirty little paws on it and play with it in bodyshop.
Made a couple alpha edits and gave one of them a test drive in Pleasantville.



It worked great until I switched lots and the sim with the tongue edit got off the school bus for an after school visit.  Then this happened-


It turned blue and would jump out of her mouth.
I couldn't have that.  I promptly tookl control of her and had her go to the nearest mirror where I unselected and reselected it.  That seemed to clear it up.



I know it's my fiddling around with it, but would you happen to know what might have caused it?

i have that same problem all my earrings and other things turn blue at random i have to keep "chaning apperance" to make them turn back to normal i hope a modder or ea can solve these problem its so annoying. BUT THANKS !! GREAT DOWNLOAD:blob6:
