Need help and fast

ok i'm playing my sims game right now and for some reason the save feature is disabled..like it won't let me click on the save button or the go to neighborhood or exit...i don't know why this is..is there a cheat to enable the save button to be usable again. I believe it happened when a social worker came and i used a cheat to delete her and the save feature never got a chance to reenable itself. i hope someone know's what i mean and if u do help fast please..thank you

One of the insimenator's tools is "enable save" I can't remember which one but that very same thing happened to me yesturday. Hope I've been helpful and not too late. Say, anyone know how to restore back-up game files? I'm feeling a bit stewed here. K_O

i don't have insim and i don't think it will work if i download it while the game is runnning

i had that problem before. and for me i had to turn my game off the wrong way. and re start it. and i went in the lot it still wasn't back. then i had to do the same thing again and re start. didn't go in lot. i deleted my house and family. and i started all over again. now i never have that problem. you might have to do the same.

Doesn't leaving the lot via taxi or car automatically save it?  

This is a total shot in the dark, but maybe if you can try to call a cab to go somewhere.  I've never tried it so I can't say for sure, but it might be an option.

yes, leaving the lot by taxi or car will autosave the game.

thanks for all your suggestions, but i just ended up closing the game and downloading insim and then going back to the house i was playing...and i just have to say insim rocks and i never knew how much i was missing out...thanks for all your help
