I spent a whole day, yes a whole day not kidding at all, cleaning out all the recolors in bodyshop last week. I deleted everything i never use becuase Im a download-aholic. So, feeling very satisfied and proud of myself, I quit and then when i went back in today and all, and i mean everything, I deleted was back!!!! Plz help me. Its like a cursed or something.

I delete stuff in Bodyshop often and had no problems.


did you maybe make your Downloads folder read-only? (or SavedSims folder if you have anything in there)

No, its not read only folder. I think its just my game. I have a dell m140 laptop and it really hates the sims so I have always issues. It takes at least 20min just to load the game to the neihgborhood screen. I need to invest on a better pc, not a dell, but now all the pc's have vista and I heard on other site forums that vista hates sims AND bodyshop. I dont know if its true, but still I have a dilemma :sad3: Thanks though amanda56 and Sleepycat.

Hi

On my new PC (with not an nvidia graphic card) and with vista (home basic version) I haven't any problem with the Sims. But ok, each computer may be different... Wink

:happy8:Thanks Mihura, for the feedback regarding vista. I was starting to think that Im doomed lol (I know Im so overdramatic). Sometimes it really feels like torture when i cant play or recolor clothes in bodyshop...:happy8:
