Those are great, Lewis! I have a rough time with placing centerpieces, etc. on tables, as some the Sims can eat around, and others they 'see' as taking a space on the table, throwing off their serving pattern.

I use this creator's slots for tables, beds, dressers, cabinets: http://www.modthesims2.com/creator/JohnBrehaut1

They are called OMSP's, he has a lot of different ones in several posts. Combine that with "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false" then position it under the item you want to use, table, cabinet, dressers, etc. then use the invisible recolor. I also use windkeeper's table slots, but it's pay @ TSR. They will still be able to use the table around your slots.

Thanks so much Sliim and Nyane. I haven't finished decorating the split-level yet. *smooches*

Meet the Harding family

My vampire Paul holding George, his wife Heather next to him, and Paul's mother Catriona, also a vampire next to her.  In the front is his daughter Kitty and son Paul the forth.

This is their house.  It was once upon a time a small prison, but Paul renovated it when he decided to settle down a bit.

The back

Main living area.  A small dining area, but everyone has such different hours, it doesn't seem to matter.

Another view

Upstairs bedrooms.  It's a tight fit, but it somehow seems to work.

Another view

With the walls up

Basement where there still are iron bars on the cell doors

The very top floor holding a piano and hot tub.

I'm very proud of this house! Cheesy

Great Pictures Everyone, Linus I'm lovin all the pictures!

This home is a remodel of a maxis made home. I changed the Blueprint and added a basement. I'm glad how it came out. This house belongs to a sim I modeled after my great-grand Father. I'm posting him in the male thread..

The Exterior to let you know which one...

The Kitchen...

The Eating Area, I really like how I did this. I hung the Native American pictures up because my greatgrandfather was Native American...

One of my favorite rooms in the house, the Living room...

Lovely homes everyone! Truly good jobs!
Ericajean, I see the pride you take in your lot and I am proud with you. Old jail is a good theme to decorate.
Linuslover, beautiful pic. I like your choice for the wall. Makes the maxis stuff look suitable for it.
Hunterkiller, I love adobe houses and the interiors is to die for. I would love to enter my home and see those surroundings. Beautiful work.
Awtm, wonderful use of the interiors. I love the dining area. Everythings fantastic. Love the heritage paintings. LOL!
Your welcome ganymede. As you know, I love the country look also.  I see recolors of some items I have. I must go find that. When you get the slots items, let me know what you think, if you use it. Cheesy

Selenaq, don't you just love the new chairs from holy simoly? That is my new favorite cc. LOL! You know I am a fan, you did a fantastic job with the maxis items. I love the bar. Cheesy
Hunterkiller, really, really nice indoors and exterior decor. *Applause*

Your very, very welcome Erica Jean! Cheesy

When I first got Nightlife, this is the way I built my lots, I didn't know cheats then, LOL! This lot has nothing special, just nostalgia for me.

The livingroom

Eat in kitchen

Bathroom

Master bedroom

There's a second bedroom, but since the sims that will be moving in has no children yet, I didn't decorate it.

The main floor and one car garage

Back of lot
