Can you re name a package file??

I just learned how to make infant clothes with Sim PE and the way I learned the file you recolor always has the same name. Can you rename a package file without ruining the file or is there another way to do it so I can easily find what infant override it is?? Please help needed ASAP

I think there's only a little number of files which you shouldn't touch, like a live.package file containing new default names.

Recolours should be fine
