The title speaks for itself.My ocean is normal,but not reflective.Could someone help me?:idea1::cry::cry::sad5::sad5:

Do you have relfections on in the game opitions? also it depends on how good your video card is.The newer ones get that "reflective" look

Check your game options.  Also try turning on bumpmapping (boolprop bumpmapping on).  As y2krobie pointed out, only the newer cards will likely support this.  If you are running on a laptop with some cheeseball Intel video, it probably will not.

Have you a new video card ? Y2krobie have explained that only good cards can support this effect. If this option isn't allowed then see your card. Wink

And by the way a reflection upon ocean isn't very realistic, a calm montain lake ok but an ocean no... tongue

Enable the reflective option ? It's on the game options (graphic ones). If it's not possible, try to find your graphic card name and see if it's a compatible one (cf. the readme of the game). Smiley

I FIXED IT!!!!:tongue8::tongue8::happy8::happy8::wav::wav:I was looking through:read2: the list of good graphic cards,and i saw that mine wasn't on it!!!I asked dad to get a new one for me,and he did!!Everything works,and my pools and oceans have become reflective.
But i want to thank you guys for helping me through,and i want to thank insimenator.net for being such a great site!!
