My sims can't dance hula nor slapping... nor smustle!

Hello, everybody. Hope you can help me, because I just can't understand what's going on, :sad4:

My fav sim family went on vacation and the father tried to learn a dance, but when doing so, an error occurred so I had to reset him... and everybody stop dancing. Samething happened when the Mom tried, but the teenage daughter actually learnt it.

Then, when they got home, I tried to figure out what happened and found out that they can't either dance smustle! -But the daughter can with no problem as long as the parents don't try to join her.

They went on vacation again, and it happened again with the local dance, parents get an error, the kid dances with no problem.

Any clue or suggestion?

Ahem... the teen girl can learn and not her parents ? That's really strange. :roll: Have you tested with other adults ?

Indeed. The girl learns but the parents don't. And they also forget to dance smustle -before BV both were experts at it.

I tried with another family. Everyone, elders and youngsters, learnt hula with no problem. So it seems it happens only to one family -my favourite one :bawl:

the insim is now updated and there is an option on it to make sims learn that dance.

Try to fix them with that new shinny option.

They have the memory now, but when they try to dance any group dance I get an error
any idea?

You have to reset dancing skill

mouseclick+[SHIFT] on stereo in debug mode to choose the option.

What if they're dancing outside with the speaker and no stereo?  How do you get them to dance then?  My sims start to dance, then jump out of it.

On a community lot you mean?

You could edit the lot and change the speakers.

But if their fun is max, often they will start to dance and stop right away making it look like they are jumping out of the action but they simply stop because their fun is max already; yes sims are this silly.  If they start to do it, it means the speaker should be working fine.
