Slow game

Since I installed BV, my game is so slow....I have 1G of RAM, and someone told me I should get another processor. Mine is Celeron D 331 (CPU 2.66GHz), motherboard: ECS P4M800Pro-M ...I really don't know what to do...new motherboard? New processor? New what?   :cry:

Is the computer slow, or the game.  BV, just as Seasons, piled on requirements for graphics rendering.  Take a look at your video card.  If it's not at least a 256 MB card, the game is slowing way down as it does the graphics.

NvidiaGeforce 6200 which was 100% with Seasons. It is a 256 MB card

Nyx - The truth is, with that processor speed and 1 GB of RAM and a NvidiaGeforce 6200 256 MB video card, you should be zipping along.  The ECS P4M800Pro-M is a known bad buggy board, there are a wide number of complaints from people who have this purchased this motherboard.

From what I have read about this particular motherboard, there is a serious problem with the BIOS so that it fails to recognise the full quantity of RAM and other serious resource issues (front-side bus speed, faulty power down, faulty green-ware, etc) SO much so that I see these boards being listed for as low as US $ 10 now (yes, that is ten American dollars)

My advice is to make a list of your other components and look around for a different motherboard that supports all of the parts.

Thanks, BBB! I thought it should be it. The fact is that the motherboard came with the computer and I've been thinking of changing it to another one. Some people told me about the processor, that I should buy a Pentium 4 or dual core. But none of those people play TS2.

My next step is to buy a new motherborad!!! Would you recommend me any?
