My custom obj & Mods won't work.... Help..

I have a new computer, it has windows vista. It doesn't have winzip or anything on it. I haven't put anything on it. I take it off my laptop, that has the winzip on it, and transfer it to my computer. (I don't have the internet on my desktop. At the beginning when you have to pick the place you want to go, the screen comes up with the custom things that are there. I enabled then, but when I went into my town and into my home the mods never worked and the custom obj wouldn't show. Do anyone know what I can do? I have the following mods, inteen, insim, pregwearallclothing, lotfullofsims. By the way I'm not sure what insim to get. I d/l one but wasn't sure if it was the right one or anything, can anyone help? Oh and I have the ep up to Seasons.

After you enable custom content, you have to restart the game.
