Sim gave birth on wrong lot!

I hope someone here might have some ideas that could help me. I invited a pregnant sim to another residential lot for a wedding and made her selectable. As soon as I did, she gave birth to twins who showed up in the pictures on the left as living in that lot. As soon as I named the twins, the game crashed and I haven't been able to get back into it.

I did not download anything new. I used SimPE to delete the twins from the lot they were born on and adding them to the family they belonged with, changed all the memories appropriately, commited and saved. Still no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated!
