The video is set to private, so we can't see it. I'd love to help, otherwise.

Monica, update your graphics card drivers. If that does mot help your card may be overheating, or else is just not meeting min requirements. It is very difficult to offer good advice when you do not supply information about your game and system. Good luck. -Bill

OK!
I have all the expansion packs.
I dont know what type of graphic card I have, but it say I have "graphics by nVidia" I bought my laptop in May, and I am sure I have the min requirements. The game has worked with all the expansion packs before. Maybe it is, like you said, that my card is overheating.. how can I find out?

Click start>Run and type "dxdiag" (without the quotes, of course Wink) and hit enter. If you click on the display tab the graphics card info with be there. Also, are you running Vista or XP? If you have Vista, the requirements for running sims change.

I see something simlar on XP systems and Macs with both ATI and NVIDIA cards, I am inclined to believe it is a general bug in the fast render engine of Bon Voyage.

I have the same card on my laptop at home (with Vista) and it gives me similar glitches with the sims, which is why I don't play on my laptop and play on my pc instead. I think it's something you might have to learn to live with.

This is EXACTLY what's happening in my game also... only with more of a rapid and flashy pace, and mainly on my Downtown neighborhoods.  (hence the reason why I hardly ever play or create them)

I think I'm starting to get why EA said that Sims 2 wasn't "laptop friendly."  :?

There are Notebook computers out there that would make my desktop look like a worn out Commodore 64. The problem with them is PRICE!! $3000+ dollars for a notebook computer is well beyond my budget. I think most of us are seeing small graphics glitches since the BV release. I have a decent system and have some issues. In all honesty Monica92 you should be happy you can use the notebook (Laptop) at all. The release of Pets killed my notebook for playing Sims 2. I bought a new desktop and all was well. Now BV is pushing my system or my patience. I'm not sure which. Smiley -Bill
