All Custom Content gone!! Please help

Just as the title says.. I dunno what happened!! Everything is still in the downloads folder but nothing shows up in the game except recolours of Maxis Objects.
This is awful I had tons of stuff What do I do now??

Go to the Options button in game, there should be a box with "enable CC" or "disable CC". If it's on "disable CC", then just click "enable".

Ok I did that but still, they won't show up
Also I've always chosen "Disable Custom Content" but they used to always show up anyway!

After I posted this thread I downloaded Sims 2 Clean Pack Installer and removed anything that was highlighted in red, and some more stuff and it worked!! Then I thought it'd be okay now if I downloaded more stuff so I did... and they were gone again When I open the lots I find, in their places, Maxis objects glowing in blue!!! Now what is that?? :smt120 I made sure there's nothing highlighted in red or pink or anything that look weird..
Could this happen if I have too much custom content??

you need to enable CC, then quit the game and restart it. It should work for you then. That's what normally happens when I install a new expansion, etc. Hope this works for you!!
