I don't like to complain, but this issue was really annoying me.
I have downloaded a lot of stuff from this page and other pages (I love you creators for it :worship:), and I don't think the Sims2 could ever have been more fun to play.

However.

I recently bought the expansion pack Seasons, and now none of the items show up anywhere.

The people who had downloaded items (pink hair, red eyes, blue skin etc.) still looked like they should, but whenever I clicked a mirror and said "change appearance", only the standard Sims2 hair and accessories showed up. The same goes for building and buying; the items were in the house, but I couldn't purchase any new ones.

Does this sound familiar? I could really need help or tips about this!
Thanks in advance!

Pst, if it's nessecary to know, I have University, Nightlife, Pets and Seasons, but only Seasons messed up.

Yes, it sounds very familiar, indeed. Wink
Did you click on "enable custom content" in the game options (the cogwheel thingy) and then restart the sims?

Whenever you install a new EP, the game reverts to disabling cc... *sigh*

Yeah, I did click the "enable custom content" - and I even restarted the game just to make sure it would work! :O
But it failed... Sad

Try again, I've heard horror stories of having to enable and restart up to 6 times!

Sounds horrible!
Thank you for the advice - I'll keep on trying, but so far, nothing has seemed to work like it should. I even tried to delete some of the downloaded files that had an "error" sign on it, but... *shrugs*
I'll keep on trying. >_>

This can be a bit of a pain in the backside, but it's worked before for others.

First, make sure your downloads folder is spelled right: Downloads (just like that, with the capital D). If it isn't, then rename it and start your game. Everything should be there. If it is spelled right, then take your downloads folder out, start the game and close the game. Put the dowloads folder in, enable cc and close the game, then restart again. That might do the trick.
