Yesterday I found that my Sims can no longer interact normally. Here's what I mean, and it happened when I opened a lot:
- When I hover the cursor over a bed, I get a "No Actions Available" if that's what it is, message. The same message you get when you try to talk to a guest who has already decided to hook & book.
- The lot had a townie and a guest standing there, but one townie was wearing her bathing suit, and there's no pool. Interaction attempts with both were terminated by the "action balloon" (if that's what you call it -- in the upper left corner) disappearing before the action was completed.
- When a Sim tries to pick up the infant, most of the time she lands back on the floor. Not put there. Just disappears from the adult's arms and reappears on the floor.
- Putting the infant in the high chair doesn't always give me a "Feed Narny" or whatever option.
I
think I installed the option to keep Sims from using others' beds, but as no library bed showed up, I'm not sure if it was successful.
The only other hack is the No Autonomy fridge, so adults have to serve meals, instead of feeding their own fat faces. This probably started after I tried to install the bed sorter, above.
What could be going on? And how can I stop it?
