When I opened my game, all of the wants slots disappeared..
I tried deleting the Sims 2 folder and resetting the game, but it doesn't work.
I've removed all the downloads but it still does the same thing-

How do I fix this? :sad4:

BTW, on debug mode it produces a ton of errors.
Off debug mode the sims reset themselves; and the game lags.

If you can post one of your latest error logs from your "Logs" folder, I'm sure someone can help you figure out what may be the problem by looking through it.    From the looks of it, it seems like you may have some hacks causing trouble, but since you said that removing the downloads didn't help, I'm not quite sure...

I know, it'd seem like it.
About all of the error logs are blank..
Like the Missing Anim-a,b,c,o,t,p,e etc
The texture load log and the session load are blank.
About all of them are..

Okay... try making a new error log by starting up the game and doing this:

1.) As soon as the game finishes loading, bring up the cheat console (Ctrl + Shift + C) and enable debug mode. (boolprop testingcheatsenabled true)

2.) Go to the problem lot and load it up.  If an error box pops up after the lot finishes loading, make note of the name of the log, then press "Delete".  Repeat this if another one should follow behind it.

3.)  At this point, you can choose to exit out the game (or minimize it) and go into your Logs folder to find the newly generated error logs.

You can attach the most recent one to your post by going into Advanced Mode. (clicking either the "Post Reply" button at the bottom of the page or the "Go Advanced" button in the Quick Reply box... then choose to manage your attachments.)  Hope this helps.

That's the only error that comes up.
And when I press DELETE, it deletes the sim..
When I press RESET, it comes up again !

Can you attach the file listed in the error message, as Tenshii described?

If you go to that location (C:/Documents and Settings...ObjectError_N001_t16192.txt), that file should be there. You can attach it to your reply with the additional options below where you type your reply.

*edit* never mind, you've edited it and added it now! ;p

  This is just a longshot guess... but do you have any phone hacks or cell phone replacements in your game?  Those could be what's causing the error to happen.  :dontknow:

Just go in the path shown in the object errors pics you posted in here and please attach the object_error file.  We cannot help you more without that file.

Tenshii explained a few post above how to attach file to a reply.

Oops sorry,  I did not see it, thanks for pointing it out.

So Jacob you are telling us you do not even have a downloads folder in your c:/mydocuments/eagames/thesims2 folder or you completlely and totally removed ALL your downloads and it still doing that (all meaning all of it, not just mods but everything)?

If so, then I would suggest you reinstall your game including all ep's since I doubt anything else can solve this.  I think somehow your objects.package got corrupted.

Ohh I see. Yeah, Ive moved that folder to my desktop. I dunno.. I kind of lost most of the disks so I'm not sure if I can reinstall them all. I've downloaded mods that replaced the 'wants'. But I've always moved the original to my desktop. Once I deleted it and replaced that, it started screwing up.
