"Dirty Joke" interaction in BV??

Hi everybody,

I recently installed BV & Teenstuff over my old perfectly working Sims2 installation. (everything including H&M)

I thought I'd start a new 'hood with all the cool new goodies like beach property etc now available (my old favorite neighborhood didn't have water).

Now I'm taking my Sim Girl to her first date and she gets the want to tell a dirty joke...

In my game there ARE no dirty jokes available anymore. I tried switching off custom content totally after trying to eliminate all hacks, but nothing helped.

Their relationship is 100 (both), she has a crush on him.

The only thing left I could try to do is installing the official patch. But I'm reluctant to do that because the patch often creates more problems than it fixes.

Have you tried actually removing all of your downloads and testing again? Might be worth a shot.. it sounds more like a mod issue than a game issue to me - I have not had any problems with the Dirty Joke interaction in BV. It wouldn't be a bad idea to install the official patch, but if you do, make sure you remove any unofficial patches you might have installed to correct the Tour guide issue (they would likely conflict)

Quasim, the bv patch is safe to install.  I did not heard of it causing any issues.

Like Pandasan suggested, try removing all your cc and see if the option is showing without any.

Oh my word I have the same thing!  One of the many issues I have come to just accept with BV.  Curiously I sometimes do get the option, but when I click on it, a random romantic action plays instead.

If you do figure out what is causing the problem, please let me know.  I have so many problems right now in my game.  But at least it still starts up, unlike some people.

Hey, waaaaaiiit a minute... you don't have dizzy's dirty joke hack installed, do you? From what I remember that makes sims going for a dirty joke interaction change it for a romantic one if they're going together, or something like that.

Thanks for the answer Sadie!  I will have to check my downloads and see it that's it.

Now as to why my Sim adults cannot do any interactions while on holiday, that's a bit more of a problem.  Even when they sit down to eat they get the jump bug.  I had to get them out of there or they would have starved to death.

I know, I know.  Take out all of my downloads.  I'll get to that one of these days.

LOL Well, tested without the dirty joke hack - it was that alright

You've definitely got a rogue download in there somewhere - mine's chocka again, had two holidays with no problem.
