I'm sorry to ask this, but now that we have seasons, I am really wanting to create a resort where my sims can go on vacation and sleep in hotel rooms. Can this hack be used to allow my family or sims to "go away" and sleep on lots with hotel rooms to create something like we had with vacation?

YEAH, im hearing you... that would be awesome... Sims 1 Vacation. in Sims 2, with the weather etc.

No pressure on Squinge, cause he has done an awesome job with whats already out there... but a sleep hack would be awesome for Seasons... and maybe even open the door for a Hotel hack/mod that would charge by the day+no sims etc.
