name changes with teen stuff install

I recently added teen style to my collection since installing my sims have all swapped names or automatically changed names (adults, teens, elders, toddlers and children only) not babies.  Can anyone help me to rectify the weird situation?

I have all EP's up to Seasons (pets isn't installed though)

Wow that's quite unusual! Is it only the first names that have changed? If so, you should be able to change them by doing the following:
enter the cheat boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled True
Shift-click on the sim who needs to be renamed, there should be a rename option in there.

If the last names switched too... you'll either need SimPE or a mod such as the Last Name Copier.

How do I fix it in SimPE though?  I have the latest version!  This is really bugging me!

It's super easy. Open SimPE, open your neighborhood browser, and open your neighborhood. I would suggest, before going any further, that you back up your neighborhood. Any changes, no matter how minor, run the risk of borking things up, and it's alwasy better to be safe than sorry.

Now, open your sim brower and select the sim whose name you want to change and click open. You'll see the sim's first name and last name in seperate boxes. Here's where you change the name, and don't forget to hit "commit" and save your changes before you close.

Happened to me also, i just deleted my sims couldn't be bothered stuffing around.
I had wondered if it had happened to anyone else;
it's so strange

Yeah First of all my cc went all weird then the names went all funky.  All fixed now (hopefully) it was only about 8 sims affected.
