Yes it will cause problems I wouldn't use the non-inteen version with Inteen.
 
Do you have that problem with other adult sims when you are using the inteen version?

Just a heads up for everyone wondering, it conflicts with seasons and stops the ability to change into the new outwear.

I'm able to get the sims to change in outerwear. It only doesn't work for the dresser, work with the jacket rack and when they go outside.
