Freetime Question

Ok so I have a  question for you guys. I DO have every single download in my game that I did before...I am not looking to remove them I dont care. I know I should put I cant live without them. All I am wondering is (and its prob. from the hacks but..)

#1 My sims come home from work and now it says -$30,000 some dollars and stuff. It doesnt take it away Im just wondering if anyone knows if that is a specific hack or what? I can live with it until insim and inteen are updated though but

#2 I cant make a "BFF" or do any "new" interactions. Is this from insim or something? Just wondering. Thanks.

1) This is a known FT bug. I personally haven't heard of a fix.

2) This may be a result of leaving non-updated hacks in your game, but I've read that there aren't many advantages to having BFF's.

You WILL bork your game if you leave hacks in when the creators tell you not to.

Keeping outdated hacks because you cannot live without them is bad.

It does not look to me you value any of your hoods since you do not mind leaving outdated hacks in.  Some hacks are NOT doing what they were originally design to do so living them in thinking they are still working is foolish.

Do not complain because you have bugs, just do what is needed so you do not have some which is remove outdated hacks, they can harm your hoods and sims badly if they are not coded properly.

#1 From what I read, this happens after you get a chance card that gives you money.  The next time your sim come back from work it will get a negative pay.  To avoid this until it is fix with a patch click the ignore option on chance cards.

I had all the same things happen to me, and I took out InSim and InTeen and now everything works.

InTeen isn't even doing anything but messing things up, so really, take it out.

Or just wait to play FreeTime when things are updated. Trust me, I was in the same boat, I've always been, "Hell, I don't care if it's updated or not," and played through it anyway -- but with FreeTime, things aren't working so well with Inteen & Insim in there. So just take 'em out.

I removed inteen (can live without it until update) and put in the OBJ version of insim (though I miss the menus). my game is running smoothly, and so far so good, exept a few pictures that got completely ruined for some reason - but it's working again. I've got a few other hacks too, but for the moment I'm playing almost only maxis stuff (except hacks and default replacements). as far as I know, this Securom thing isn't causing any problems yet, and I've got all games including BV installed. I didn't even know about it until a week ago.
