Help! Really bad Sims glitch!

I am so lost now.

Okay. Every now and then this really weird thing will happen when I bring the mouse over one of the people and then they are moved somewhere else really fast. Like...once, an toddler was in a crib and I moved to mouse over to get the parent to take him out, and when the mouse went over the kid, he was instantly on his knees beside the crib on the floor.

And, once, the adult sim started walking up the stairs, and I moved the mouse over the infant and the infant was moved away onto his knees about two feet away, and the adult was put on the floor away from the stairs.

I mean...it happens instantly, and it is very frustrating.

I have Sims Holiday edition, University, Nightlife, Pets, and Teen Syle.

I added the Pets patch a couple days ago, but when I click it and get it started it just says Sims Pets is already up to date. I know all the CC hacks or mods I have don't clash together, and they go into the Pets ep.

Also! There is this weird blue flashing that happens over some lots I downloaded, but I don't know what is wrong. Sometimes it is over furniture, sometimes the ground.

I am confused, so if you can help me in some way...that would be great.

One helpful thing to do:  Take out all of your downloaded hacks, move them someplace safe outside of your "The Sims 2" folders, and test them out by gradually adding them back into your game until this issue starts happening again.  You obviously have a jump bug, which is probably related to either an outdated hack that modifies your Sims' pie (action) menus, or two or more of your mods are conflicting with each other.  You might also want to try Paladin's Hack Conflict Detection Utility.  (Found under Sims 2 => Programs)

Well. I ran it. The only thing it said was a possibility was two of my adult sims things. But, otherwise, it was nothing serious...So I don't know what to do.

Can you name those two you saw in HCDU? More information about those two possibilities would be great to understand exactly what is going on with your game at the moment.

Ah, that mod looked familiar. You need to go back to where you downloaded that mod from and ask for help there. I thought the mod was at MATY the last time I looked at the mods there.

Oh! Yeah. I should tell you this now.

I found out. I only get the glitch if I have toddlers. I don't know if it happens with infants, or children tho.

I'm pretty sure cramboys mods are compatible with each other, so I don't think you have 2 hacks conflicting with each other. You may still have a hack conflicting with your game though. Have you tried removing all CC and retesting to see if the glitch stops? If it does, there's a bad file in there somewhere and you will have to weed it out. Check the log files that your game generates. If it generated an object error the last time you played, copy it here so I can look it over and I'll try to let you know if it has anything useful.
