OFB Installation

I recently got, OFB, installed it and wiped out my downloads. Thankfully I did remember to back up everything.

I was glad in a way, fresh start, get rid of stuff I REALLY don't need.

Well, I was downloading a few pre-made sims. When I downloaded them with just the base game, they went right in. Now that I have OFB installed, I tried to install them again, it said I'm missing expansion pack data.

What's up with that?!!?

It is normal.  If you use the clean installer though to install the sims you won't be face with that problem.

You can get that program at MTS2 site.

I tried to use clean installer, but it crapped out on me.

When I tried to use it I got nothing but an empty screen like it was empty.

If you haven't read the documentation on the MTS2 site on how to use Clean Installer, take a look at them.  Afterwards, if it's still not working for you, post your questions on their support forum.

I've used the installer before I got OFB and it worked.

What I did was, uninstalled the games, reinstalled them and installed Clean Installer AFTER I installed OFB.

Now it works. Whew!
