This is the  only  way KatashixChiaki  could  work:

Katashi would  have to sacrifice his  lifestyle to have a successful love life with  Chiaki.   His lifestyle caused his  ex-wife to  divorce him taking their  daughters along with her. It would be  hard yet  worth it to give up his precious ( and sexy)  little  harem.   


YouheixChiaki would be good, too.  Chiaki  would  have to  work hard to  stop   Youhei's bipolar disorder  from  jeopardizing their  relationship.   Even as  a friend,   Youhei's  mental  illness would still  effect him.   


Katashi  witnessed the  episodes  since he  sort of adopted   Youhei.  A 14 year old  Youhei  ran away from home after killing his  uncle and  burning down the house.    Katashi  found him.

Of course *you* are in control of their lives. It's not for me to decide how their stories will be told. I was merely pointing out my personal preferences based on the photos you had posted earlier and how I find the relation of Youhei with Chiaki more interesting in terms of plot, events and possible ways to develop in the future.

Good luck with installation. This process gives in my nerves.

Reinstalling cos my game crashed.
It's nothing to do with my hard drive, I just get annoyed from the endless backing up that I've had to do.

Then you don't have to reinstall; or, at least, not before you try the hood regeneration process. You'll have to delete the neighbourhoods from your My Documents\EA\The Sims 2 location --after backing up whatever you want to keep from your current playable neighbourhood-- and next time your run The Sims 2 the game will regenerate all these neighbourhoods for you. As I said check on MATY and MTS2 Wiki to get all the details.

If you need help, pm me, as this subject is apparently off-topic here --and I don't like mods popping up to point the obvious.
