Does anyone know why clothing appears like this? It really ticks me off when I download some outfits and when I want to use in game they have all these spots/diamonds looking holes. Does anyone know with this is and how I can fix it?

I'm thinking it's clothing for a specific bodyshape.  If that's the case the only way to "fix" it is to use that bodyshape for the sim.

The reason I'm thinking this is I have had several outfits that looked very nice on the average and fit builds of Maxis shaped sims, but the body would bleed out of the outfit if the sim was fat.  Those outfits weren't made to morph with the bodyshape.

I dont think thats it. But it does sound reasonable. I dont think its that because the sites dont ever mention it and their preview of the clothing is always perfect. Like if it works perfectly on their game.
