What Hurts The Most~Updated 9/13

Okay, this is my first story so feel free to criticize. And sorry it's short. I wanted the first chapter to be suspenseful :-P Enjoy!
Chapter One
Hi, my name is Lexie Hershey.
I used to be and ordinary girl, hoping I would meet my Prince Charming someday. Until one day, I met him. His name was Lance. I never believed in love at first sight, but he changed my mind. I fell head over heals for him. When we graduated from college, he took me out to a fancy restaurant. We were discussing how good the dinner was when he slid a box over to me. I opened it and there was a shimmering diamond ring.
“Lexie, I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Lance said.
“Oh Lance! Of course I will!” I shouted. Our wedding was beautiful.
Later that night, we went upstairs of our new house and relaxed.
Let’s just say, months later our beautiful baby girl Kista was born. One day, Lance went out to get some baby food.
“Make sure you get the big container of baby powder.” I said.
“Yes dear.” said Lance.
“And those baby veggies.”
“Alright. Bye.”
“Bye Daddee!” Kista yelled.
“Bye sweetie.”
“We love you.” I said.

Later that night, Lance didn’t come home. At around 9:00, I got a phone call.
“Mrs. Hershey?”
“Speaking."
“This is Officer Briggs, I’m afraid I have some bad news...”
I gulped. “What is it?”
"It's about your husband."[/FONT]
