I'd like to take some screenshots in CAS. My default resolution is 1680x1050. The UI does not dynamically resize when changing the resolution and it is in the way of the Sim.

Is there a keyboard shortcut or cheat code that hides the UI in CAS?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion but the TAB key doesn't hide the UI in CAS.

I'm sorry.

It hides the UI in game, that's why I suggested it.

No there isn't to my knowledge. Does it have to be a shot of your sim in CAS? Why not just take shots in game?

I'm making some clothing. I've noticed some people posting shots of clothing do it either in CAS or in Bodyshop. I don't like the way it looks in Bodyshop. I also noticed that there isn't a UI in the way of their shots.

I tried lowering my resolution to 1280x960. This looks the best in CAS without the UI in the way but the resulting screenshot is disproportional making the sim look tall and skinny.

Are there any cheats to get the sim to pose in game? I could do it this way and pause it.

Give 1280x1024 a try.  I think it has the proportions you're looking for.  The is a post or two on MTS2 in the modding section concerning modifying the xml used in the CAS to move the UI to the right so you can see your sim.  It took me a while to find it and I can't remember how it did.  Probably just scroll through the posts.

If I'm not mistaken, I think F10 usually hides the UI of the game... I know it works while in your lots, but I think it might also work in CAS, too.  I don't remember, and I'm not quite in game right now, but you can try it and see if it works that way, too.

I appreciate everyone's input and suggestions. F10 doesn't work. That was the first thing I tried before coming here to post. I did find something interesting at MTS2 which may help others that have a widescreen monitor with it set at a high resolution.

It is called Widescreen CAS Camera fix (all games) and can be found here:

This wasn't exactly what I was looking for but it moves the character around the UI and zooms out far enough to keep the UI out of the way.
