Help with installing whole Sims pls...

I've checked other forums and threads and I couldn't find my answer so I'll just post a newbie.
Umm I'm having to manually install my CC and I've unpacked my whole Sims I d/loaded from here.  Now can someone please tell me where they have to go?  I mean what folder exactly.  I've put them in the Downloads folder and also the SavedSims folder but as yet they havn't appeared in my game.  The same issue I'm having with houses.  Where do the unpacked ones go?  
This is probably a simple question but yeah its got me stumped and slightly frustrated.

Houses go in the Teleport folder after you install them.

Once inside the game, they're in the houses bin.

Sims go in your download folder (I think)

You'll find them in BodyShop or your CAS.
