I have been looking for some hint as to getting clothing on to my sims2 but am lost. I have no clue on how to get the clothing from here on to my game. What file do I put them in? Where do they go? Sorry if this has been asked but I can't find that post.

All the stuff you download (package files) goes into your Downloads folder.

You're Downloads folder is located inside your Sims 2 folder via My Documents.

If you do not have a downloads folder, create one and makes it's spelled just like this:

Downloads

Make sure you enable Custom Content.

If you have Nightlife or higher.

You will need to double click the icon and Sims2 installer should open and automatically place it in your game. Then open your Downloads folder and delete the icon it looks like a person standing in a blue box. There is another way you can download a free extracter like 7Zip .But since it is 2:oo o'clock in the morning I have to go to bed.Perhaps someone else will give you more help with that.I'll check back later and finish instructions.
Only if you need more help.

Your package files are inside your zip files. You have to unzip the files and extract the package file to your downloads folder.

You might want to look at this, it has all kinds of links to stuff you might need.
