I am looking for a tutorial that is straight forward as possible to explain how to extract a mesh into SimPe and add shoes to the mesh.

I want to add shoes to Dr. Pixel's Well rounded sim swimsuit mesh (my pics aren't working today)

I tried to use the tutorial over at MTS2 but it confused me to no end so I gave up. I want to try again but I just need a straight forward tutorial.

Thanks

nikki

You can not add shoes to a excisting mesh unless that mesh already has a seperate meshgroup for shoes/feet.(and DR Pixel's meshes dont have them.)

you can replace the maxisfeet with shoes, thats all
Or make a new meshpackage based on his and give the mesh shoes.

Cheesy
Sorry! That's what I meant:happy8:

I want to replace the maxis feet with new shoes. I get confused everytime using the MTS2 tutorial when it comes to making a new mesh package so I can add the meshes:-P

im sorry, but i still do not understand wat you exactly want.

Editing the original mesh from DR Pixel and replace the feet with shoes or,
make a new recolor and mesh based on DR Pixels but with shoes instead of feet?

Oki Smiley

You open DR Pixels' mesh with Simpe
From the 4 files you select the gmdc
Right click on it and extract the file(save it)
This extracted file you can open with Milkshape.(you import it with the Unimesh plugin from Wes H)
You can edit it, or import a set of shoes
When done you export it with Unimesh
Then open the mesh package again with Simpe and replace the gmdc(right click on it)with your saved file)
Thats all

Note
You can never upload your new mesh(share it) because it is still DR Pixels mesh.
If you want to make a new one(wich is smarter)then try this tutorial:

When I open up the mesh in Milkshape there are all these blue lines that cover the mesh. I can't see what I'm doing so how do I get rid of the lines?

Thanks!

This is the sims skeleton
In the right upper corner at the tab joints you will find the option ''show skeleton''
