A question about re-installing games.

I am about to re-install all my Sims games(Base game & expansion) on a computer where they have never been instaled before.
Do I need to update and patch EVERY game or do the expansions automatically fix bugs of previous games?
They question is probably a bit silly, but I really don't feel like pacthing ALL of them... :smt120

Patch every game you have.

It's very wise to do so.

And do patch them in the order of their release (Base game, EP1, EP2, etc.)

Sometimes, patching a later EP before patching an earlier EP can cause probs with doing the latter.
