I havent seen a hobby npc at my house since installing AL and silencing the phones (maybe that not only stops their calls but also stops the appearance of the npc )

Using Twojeffs' visitor controller is keeping the hobby NPCs off my lots. The popup telling you about the membership appears, but no NPC.

As a creature of habit, I didn't bother placing a phone on any of my lots because of all the calls I was receiving compliments of freetime. I'll now add a phone and place it on silence. If I have any further problems I'll try Twojeffs' visitor controller.
