Hacks for movie makers (seasons & general)

Hi Squinge,

I have sort of an odd list- I don't know if others would find useful but these would be essential for movie makers.  I don't expect you to make all of these but the first one is probably what I'd personally like to see most:

Seasons
No butterflies or fireflies (weird request but they are weird on my urban sets)
No falling during skating for high skill (or at all)

General
No progress bar on instruments, karaoke machine, do homework

Any one of these would be greatly appreciated, especially the first one.  Thanks for your consideration and your time.

What is your latest EP seasons?

Simple question but I have an odd answer- yes Seasons on one computer and BV on the next.  I'm guessing you're asking b/c the progress bar request is dependent on EP?   Sorry my answer is so convoluted but I guess if I had to choose latest EP, it'd be Seasons (haven't tested Securom's effects on the new computer yet).

Did you find the mods you wanted for Apartment Life?

I do know that there are a couple mods for instruments, karoake and I think Bob 3942 objects to disable the skill gaining and cause the overhead meter(s) from disappearing above the Sims' heads when they use those objects.

There are also identical mods for the exercise equipment too that do the same thing as above.

Can have Mr Squinge look into this when he is able to.

No, I haven't?  So you're saying the skill gain mod exists?  Where can I find it?

One of the mods from EP8 (Apartment Life) section is called No Autonomous Instruments EP8. This one has the option to disable the progress bar and let Sims play just for fun.

No Autonomous Bob 3942/Modular Synth EP7 works for Apartment Life. This one has an option to disable the progress bar I think.

As for the karoake machines, Hacked Karoake Machine EP7 is a hacked karoake machine from Pet Stories and has one of the options to disable the progress bar. And so is this one, Move Away From Karoake Machine FT/AL. This one also has that same option.

Those are a few mods he updated recently with the extra options to disable the progress bar (Gain Skill really) and just let Sims have fun. They are good for moviemaking.

Thanks so much for the heads up for those instrument hacks- I never would've thought they'd have options to disable progress bar.  

Now I just have to wait patiently for the Seasons hacks I want.
