I hope this is the right forum for this...
A few months ago, the game would start to load up and then get so far and crash...it'd freeze and I'd have to use ctrl+alt+delete to get out of it and it'd give me an error message. So I did everything I could think of, including taking out all my downloads. Nothing I could think of fixed it...
I reinstalled Seasons, and it only...maybe not a good idea, but I don't want to lose University. (We moved and not everything is unpacked. I've about torn the house down looking for the University expansion, but somehow it's not with the others. So if I uninstall, I'm going to lose University until I can find it...not gonna hurt myself hunting for it, since I'm not supposed to do anything like lifting up boxes, due to my health at the moment. So anyways...and I don't really want to re-buy something I already own somewhere.) That worked great for a few days, but then my brand new custom neighborhood wacked out. You couldn't see the neighborhood, just a blue screen, but if you took random clicks you could find the random houses. All maxis neighborhoods were fine...so I deleted the custom one.
That helped, and I just remade the neighborhood and started over...
Now everytime I start up the game, I have to install Seasons...gotta enter the code, go through both discs, sit through it all...and then even though it's been unistalled, all the game info, familes, houses are intact. It's getting annoying..
Is there anything I can do short of deleting it all and starting over? I don't wanna uninstall it all and lose University till I come across it. But I might have to I guess...
I have: The Sims Nightlife University Open for Business Pets Seasons Family Fun Stuff Glamour Life Stuff Teen Style Stuff
Thanks if you have any ideas...
