Is there still going to be cc for the Sims 2 or do we have to push it to the side:'(? Also, can The Sims 2 sims, lots, etc be imported into The Sims 3?

I think cc for sims 2 will always be available, as it is still for sims 1. Sims three will be a whole other sims game exactly like sims 2 and sims 1 was as well. So I do not think you would be able to use sims 2 lots in sims 3
