BALLROOM- 10:00 PM
"Well, well, well....." Professor Corundum muttered when he entered the Ballroom, "It was about time I'd find you in this house."
The person looking back at him was none other than Miss Scarlet. Her glare showed no sign of love. Prof. Corundum was one of the last people in the world she would have wished to see. There was a good reason why....
"I told you I never wanted to see you again, Father..." She replied coldly.

"Your lack of respect for me is...understandable....but very misplaced, my child," He stated as calm as possible, "Now that we are back together, I suppose we could be one little family again, provided your mother were alive. However, first I would like to have a word about what I think..."
"Think about what?" Scarlet snapped, getting up from the recliner.
"About your behavior!" Corundum replied sharply.
Scarlet straightened herself, trying to show no fear or emotion towards the man she used to call "Papa".
"Never did I think that my *own* daughter...would shame us so..."
"I shamed you?" She interrupted.
"I'M NOT FINISHED SPEAKING, YOU LITTLE HARLOT!"
This little outburst left her completely speechless.
"Now then...." He continued, "I'm put in a rather awkward position. I'm perfectly prepared to forget about you running away...and becoming some cheep sex object for cheep men. Obviously, you never considered yourself a proper Corundum....perhaps you never were. What do they call you now? *Miss Scarlet*?
Scarlet's face remained unchanged.
"It's none of your concern."
"Oh, but that's where your wrong," He corrected, "You are my concern because you were my daughter. My scruples have held up more weakly than my reputation could, no thanks to you. I never did get the respect I fully deserved, but Mrs. Peacock doesn't have a clue on the way I rely on her. Nor should she. Provided you help keep my performance in high review, nobody will have to know about your past..."
....Suddenly... Colonel Mustard made an appearance.....
"Somebody was shouting in here..." He said sternly, "Why is going in on?"
"Why nothing at all Colonel Mustard," Prof. Corundum replied cheerfully, "We were just having a little disagreement."
Mustard suddenly gave him a sharp look. He knew the man was lying.
"Listen to me, you filthy moron," He threatened, "You keep away from Miss Scarlet, you hear me? I don't know what you think you are gaining from staying here, but you skating on very...thin...ice...."

Bipin didn't know what to say.
"Good evening to you too....my good sir," He muttered as he left, "Be gentle with her tonight...."
Mustard ignored him as he turned to Scarlet and embraced her.
"Now, my dear," He said gently yet firm, "How has he been treating you?"

"Well, I'm alright now at any rate, Cliff, my sweet."
Mustard smiled too.
"No more worries," He assured, "I'll take care of the problem if need be..."
