I haven't really checked out AL yet, I'm still stuck in BV. I'm kind of holding out for the AL-compatible version of SimPE. I've seen other creators clone from the UFO. I thought about going that route first but the UFO has annoying sound effects and stupid anims that kind of put me off. I'll keep the helicopter in mind, the probability of my modding/meshing vehicles based on the helicopter depend on how complex the actual .package is and how much I can tweak it without breaking it.
