It's really easy (I figured it out on accident).

Just find a skintone that is already linked to the mesh you want. Then start a new project with it. Then start a new project with Fabricio's skin (thank you, btw lol). All you have to do is copy and replace all the skin files in Fabricio's project folder into the project that has the desired mesh. Then you just export the project with the linked mesh and that was replaced with Fabricio's skin and it will work.
